Though they managed to secure a much-needed victoryin their last game against the Kings XI Punjab, there are still questions over the form of top-order batsmen, particularlythat of Yusuf Pathan and Manoj Tiwary. Manvinder Bisla's unbeaten half-centuryin the last game though, was encouraging and Jacques Kallis showed glimpses of return to form too, but his low strike rate needs some improvement. Rahul Dravid has led the side admirably besides scoring some useful runs as Rajasthan find themselves in fourth spot with four victories from seven games. When he has faltered, the ever -reliable Ajinkya Rahane and Brad Hodge have taken over while bowling has largely rotated around the young James Faulkner and the impressive Keevon Cooper. While Shaun Tait has missed the bulk of the games thus far with injury, the youngsters have stood up to be counted. However, it was Shane Watson's century which showed just how dangerous Rajasthan can be. That they could not prevent a Chennai victory despite Watson's brilliance with the bat is another story. It is not as much a reflection of their bowling depth because Rajasthan are a handful in their own backyard and Hyderabad will find it testing to stand up to a good seam attack on a quick pitch.
